Who we are?

- 'We and/or…I', is just me alone at this point-in-time, but in the future I do believe someone else should come together to construct the Hội Tụ more effectively and interesting website. So, the door is opened.

What is “Hội Tụ” means?

- For fantasized speaking, “Hội Tụ” means “...Come together right now, over me”! (Beatles). In the real meaning, “Hội Tụ” means “Convergence”.

Someone says, “Convergence” is the “Sign O’ The Times” of the early twenty-first century. To what extent the connection of ‘convergence’ and interacion leads to a better understanding of an “engineered” society. In this modern day of technology, the word is used to describe almost any trend representing the ever closer contact between the Internet Technology, broadcasting and telecommunications sectors.

‘The term “Convergence” come ogirinally from the word of science and mathematics. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, Its earliest use can be traced to William Derham, an English scientist in the 17^th and 18^th centuries who is best known for his effort to measure the speed of sound by timing the interval between the flash and roar of a cannon.’

The word “Convergence” on-and-off used in the 70’s, but the term being applied to political science (It says, convergence of U.S. and Soviet systems and economics, convergence of national economies into a global economy). For us, ‘convergence’ is the practical experiences; in the nation of socialism should take action to democratization of politics for better way to do market-economy; vice versa, in the nation of capitalism should take action of socialization of capital-economy for better social-security of the people, then, they can meet together.

In the Vietnam, for broaden meaning -“Hội Tụ/Convergence”, is the act of converging and moving toward union or uniformity of the country.

Why taking domain names ‘giaodiem.com.vn’ and ‘giaodiem.us’?

- Well, because we own ‘it’ for a long period of time, and a lot of friends, public readers already known ‘it’. “giaodiem” is just a combination of digital numbers (1 and 0), and the suffixes ‘vn’ and ‘us’ are designated to the country codes. Please do not spell out ‘giaodiem’ as “G-I-A-O-Đ-I-Ể-M” in the Vietnamese characters.

Right now, we run two websites : http://giaodiem.us  (the server is located in the U.S.) and, http://giaodiem.com.vn  (the server is loctaed in Vietnam), but the both sites carry the same content. Moreover, in the some way these two sites might support for the Hoa Vi Nam Services Ltd. Co. (Công Ty Trách Nhiệm Hữu Hạn Dịch Vụ Hoa-Vi-Nam) under the Vietnam's business laws.
